OVERALL POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Support Specialist is a sales account distribution support role primarily responsible for maintaining and servicing distribution accounts and supporting our distribution channels. This sales position supports the Sales Team and Bivar’s partner distributors and customers.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Maintain and manage account base including order entry, expediting, open order reports and various activities related to maintaining business for assigned region.Support and maintain key relationships with our partner distributors and customers.Manage data and utilize Bivar resources and tools, including NetSuite, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.Work as a Team via collaboration and cooperation to produce high quality results. Including covering for fellow team members who are absent to maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Perform routine support tasks such as expedites, processing renewals and sales orders.
  • Communicate in a competent manner by exhibiting professional email and phone etiquette.
  • Provide support for Inside Sales Manager, National Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager and Sales Team.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Active engagement and participation as an employee owner.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as requested by Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of Electronics Industry experience – preferred.
  • Experience in Electronics Distribution – preferred.
  • Ability to display a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Participation in Sales Department Meetings, Projects and Trainings.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with a positive attitude.
  • Proactive and achievement-oriented mindset.
  • Computer literacy: Ability to utilize NetSuite, Outlook, Excel and related applications.
